Dedicated Educators
Claire graduated from Virginia Intermont College with a degree in Equine Studies and a minor in Business. While at Virginia Intermont, she competed on both the Intercollegiate Hunt Seat Team and the Intercollegiate Dressage Team. She won multiple ribbons during her career at Virginia Intermont College on the hunt seat team under coach Eddie Federwisch and took home two national championships with the dressage team under coach Lisa Moosmueller-Terry. Claire helped her team earn the 2010 IDA National Team Championship title as well as earning another individual national championship title in 2010 in her individual division.
Individualized Approach
We are dedicated to providing excellent riding instruction, teaching the art of horsemanship and focusing on responsibility in and out of the tack. Our lesson program is offered to ages 5+. Lessons are offered in group or individual format on your horse or pony, or on one of our school horses. Trailer-Ins are welcomed on a select basis. Our Mission
Claire takes great care in developing her students with a strong foundation in quality horsemanship. She teaches with an emphasis on rider position and effectiveness. Claire’s desire is to instill in her students respect for the horse, confidence in themselves and appreciation for the sport.
